About The Opportunity
Minus Group (Minus Waste Solutions, PerthEnvironmental Inc.) is seeking a driven, hands-on Director of Sales to lead and grow our sales efforts across both businesses.
Minus Waste Solutions is a food and liquid wasterecycling company focused on helping customers divert organic waste through collection, depackaging, recycling, and recovery solutions. Perth Environmental provides liquid organic waste services, including hauling, cleanouts, and processing for food and industrial customers. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves leadership role for someone who can build a team, manage people, and actively sell in the field and with customers.
The ideal candidate is a strong closer, a builder of people and process, and someone who leads from the front.
What You Will Do
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Actively sell to new and existing customers across Minus Waste Solutions and Perth Environmental.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and expand market share.
- Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term customer relationships.
- Work closely with operations and management to ensure strong customer service and service delivery.
- Establish sales goals, performance metrics, and reporting systems.
- Support proposal development, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
- Maintain a strong presence in the field, at customer sites, and in the office.
What You Bring
- Proven sales leadership experience, ideally in waste management, environmental services, industrial services, or a related B2B industry.
- Strong hands-on sales ability with a track record of winning new business.
- Experience hiring, coaching, and motivating a sales team.
- A practical, entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to do the work yourself.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of growth goals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
